Client: Enterprise Rent-a-Car
Challenge: Enterprise had outgrown their current office and needed additional office space. A bid was put out for a modular building to meet the required color schemes and finishes and to meet the footprint of their drawings.
Solution: Mark Line and ModSpace partnered to achieve the desired finishes required by Enterprise. Mark Line provided and installed the interior and exterior door and hardware requirements, as well as exterior cladding and the interior unfinished structure. The entire storefront glass section of the building was provided and installed at the factory. Final finishes, which included painted drywall, carpet tile, ceramic tile in restrooms, suspended ceiling and desired furniture, was provided and installed on site.
In order to compress the time frame, Mark Line factory built all of the 48” high parapet pieces and shipped them loose, where they were erected and installed on site along with the downspouts and roof drains. A BILCO floor hatch was factory installed in the data/electric room to allow easy access to utilities. Since the building was set on a full perimeter wall foundation, Mark Line utilized one of the storage closets to exhaust/vent the crawl space cavity above the roof, which eliminated the appearance of skirting and crawl space vents. All lighting controls were motion activated for better energy consumption. Roof mounted HVAC’s hidden by the parapet ensured this building looked more like a site-built structure than a modular building.
